Health and wellness
If there’s one industry I have worked in a lot over the past few years, it’s the world of health and wellness. It’s an area I not only enjoy working in, feeling I am contributing to a bigger, positive, picture, but it’s also an industry that my illustration work suits very well. I bring an air of optimism to visuals, the graphic and geometric-nature of my illustrations makes for a simplicity often required when tackling difficult subjects. My work is not overloaded with emotion, I prefer to portray clarity and get across the required information or tell the required story.

SLEEP SCHOOL
In recent years I’ve created sets of illustrations for London-based sleep clinic The Sleep School for their blog and social media. The illustrations have covered a variety of topics around sleeping and health. Although I also produced groups of icons and graphs, the majority of the work has been scene illustrations depicting everything from getting babies into bed, getting teenagers out of bed, working scenarios, travel, socialising, exercising and almost every other aspect of life that relates to sleep or energy in any way!
TEAMBUILDER
I worked with the good people at Engine to create a set of illustrations for the new TeamBuilder website. TeamBuilder is a staff scheduling platform specifically for medical care clients. The aim of the illustrations was to bring a clean, efficient and light-hearted aesthetic to the system, enabling users to understand that the TeamBuilder platform aids an organisation’s performance is a variety of ways, enabling them to focus on the important care work. WELL NOW CLINICS
I worked alongside Ohio-based production company Impact Communications creating characters and scenes for Well Now care clinics. Together we produced animated advertisements to promote their Covid testing clinics. For this project the animation was done in-house, I designed and illustrated the scenes and prepared all the illustration files for their animation team.

OUT OF THE LOOP
I collaborated with psychologist and counsellor Gillian Batty, bringing visuals to her brilliant anxiety treatment program. Gill and I worked together to create a psycho-educational E-Book designed to demystify and treat anxiety, the result is OutoftheLoop.co.uk.
BEACON SERVICES
My friends at Rather Nice Design and I created a set of illustrated activity cards for Beacon Family Services.
Beacon Family Services help families, schools, communities and fellow support professionals to build and repair relationships through therapeutic interventions. To improve outcomes for families, children and the clinical professionals delivering therapy, Rather Nice Design and I created a set of colourful and vibrant resources to help clients better access, engage and better understand different therapeutic modalities.
SANTE FAMILLE
I was commissioned to create a series of illustrations focused on children for Santé Famille Retrait Services, used across the family health service’s website. As you can see the illustrations featured two children as they act out various healthcare scenarios with their soft-toy patients.
