Place2Be

I will forever be a keen-supporter of mental health charities, not feeling ‘normal’ myself came to define my own teens and young-adulthood especially. Being more open about mental health and normalising it as an open topic in schools will always be a progressive, positive direction. With that in mind, it was a pleasure to be approached by Place2Be to work with them on a series of posters and stickers to promote their work in schools and connect them with brilliant young people who may be in need of support.

Working alongside creative manager Ian Masters, I illustrated a set of around 20 young people of different ages and backgrounds, each one illustrated content and discontent for various reasons.

Place2Be provides child counselling and mental health support in schools, including primary, secondary and all-through schools across England, Scotland and Wales. They work closely with pupils, families and staff to improve emotional wellbeing and provide mental health support for the whole school.
