To celebrate the 30th anniversary and rerelease of their classic album ‘Wish’, The Cure are using my Cover Version of the album cover as a hashtag emoji on Twitter, any use of #TheCure or #TheCureWish attaches the emoji to your hashtag.

I was lucky enough to have my Cover Version for Sparks’ album ‘A Steady Drip, Drip, Drip‘ included in the feature documentary film ‘The Sparks Brothers’ directed by Edgar Wright and edited by Paul Trewartha.

As part of our on-going collaboration for Tim’s Twitter Listening Parties, Tim Burgess and I worked with Rega to produce some very special Planar turntables. The turntables were specially printed with a collection of Cover Versions. Only 5 were produced, with them being given away to some lucky Twitter competition winners and one going on display at the Rega turntable factory in England.

Laura Kidd aka Penfriend and She Makes War commissioned me to create 2 Cover Versions of her own albums to celebrate their limited edition re-releases on vinyl and CD. With the Cover Versions becoming the covers.

Thank you so much to Laura for this opportunity, it’s a dream come true for my Cover Versions to now be real-world vinyl covers!

In collaboration with popular culture loving Snap Galleries, Leamington Spa, Cover Versions are available as beautiful ChromaLuxe prints sized 12”, 24” and 36”, each limited edition and sold with a signed Certificate of Authenticity.

A collection of Cover Versions was exhibited as part of ‘Spin : The Art of Music’, an exhibition at Gallery at the Station in Somerset featuring the work of visual artists working in, and inspired by music. Other artists included The Specials’ Horace Panter, video artist Amy Kilner and Stormzy collaborator Kingsley Nebechi.

Deep in the 2020 lockdowns I was asked to produce some illustrated content to promote a very special RE : Surface online concert performance by Jade Bird, powered by Microsoft Surface.

My Cover Version of the Tim Burgess 2020 album ‘I Love the New Sky’ was turned into a limited edition slipmat for a lucky select few Twitter followers and fans of Tim’s Twitter Listening Parties.
