TeamBuilder
I worked with the good people at Engine to create a set of illustrations for the new TeamBuilder website. TeamBuilder is a staff scheduling platform specifically for medical care clients. The aim of the illustrations was to bring a clean, efficient and light-hearted aesthetic to the system, enabling users to understand that the TeamBuilder platform aids an organisation’s performance is a variety of ways, enabling them to focus on the important care work.
Everything started with a general illustration with a collection of people and situations which could then be re-arranged, separated or repurposed for use throughout the client's website and app.
Smaller key illustrations are used throughout the website to emphasise the foremost benefits of the TeamBuilder platform. We used the small speech bubbles as a device to focus on tools within the platform, from scheduling and messaging to alerts and payments, each time bringing a positive benefit to the users’ staff team members.
A selection of individual characters were created for varying call-outs and communications across the platform to bring an approachable aspect and easiness to the client’s service.
For the TeamBuilder platform’s demo I illustrated a collection of 30 character situations working the user through different processes on the platform, from dealing with sick staff members to booking vacation time.
